1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways:

Information you give us directly: your name, email address, and — for District Partnership or school-purchased Easy Peasy Open Door access — your school or district's name, billing contact, and mailing address.

Payment information: when you make a purchase, our payment processor Stripe collects your card or billing details directly. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers ourselves.

Content you share with us: messages, forum posts, and what you share during coaching calls or membership sessions. Easy Peasy Open Door sessions are not recorded; The Easy Peasy Way live calls are recorded for replay (see our Course Enrollment Terms). Neither is used for any purpose beyond delivering the Services, as described in our Terms of Use.

Website and email usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and whether you opened or clicked a link in an email, collected automatically through cookies and similar tools and through our email service provider .

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, bill for, and improve the Services you've purchased or enrolled in;

Send you service-related communications (such as course access, scheduling, or billing notices);

Send you newsletters or marketing emails, but only if you've opted in — see Section 3; and

Understand how people use our Site and Services so we can improve them.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Email Marketing & Your Choices

We only add you to our marketing email list if you opt in — for example, by downloading a resource or enrolling in a Service. We never purchase or use third-party email lists. Every marketing email includes a working unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act. You can also update your preferences or ask to be removed at any time by contacting us at [email protected]

4. Cookies & Analytics

Our Site may use cookies or similar technologies for basic functionality and analytics (for example, [Insert tools — e.g., Google Analytics]), so we can see general traffic patterns rather than track you individually. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking them may affect how parts of the Site work.

5. How We Share Information

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the Services, including:

Our payment processor, to handle purchases and billing;

Our email service provider, to send you communications you've opted into;

Our course and/or membership platform (clinical boss), to deliver lessons, live sessions, and the resource library; and

Our video-conferencing provider ([Insert platform — e.g., Zoom]), to host live calls.

Each of these providers only receives what it needs to do its job, and is bound by its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Easy Peasy Consulting or others. If District Partnership work requires sharing information with a school or district's own staff, that is governed by your signed services agreement, not this Policy.

6. Student Information

Easy Peasy Consulting does not knowingly collect or store personally identifiable information about K-12 students through the Site or the Services. Our Terms of Use, Membership Terms, and Course Enrollment Terms all ask participants to avoid naming or otherwise identifying specific students or families when sharing situations in coaching calls, sessions, or the course forum. District Partnership engagements that do involve student-level information are governed by the confidentiality terms of your signed services agreement, not this Policy.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site and Services are intended for adults — education professionals, school and district staff, and caregivers — and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

8. Data Retention

We keep contact and email-list data until someone unsubscribes or requests deletion, payment records as long as required for tax/accounting purposes, and course/session records for the length of that membership cycle.  When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, or de-identify it. 

9. Your Rights & Choices

Wherever you're located, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing email, by contacting us at [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

If you're located in the European Union, the UK, California, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, you may have additional rights under that law; because our applicability under laws like the GDPR and CCPA depends on facts about our business that can change (for example, whether we intentionally market to residents there), 

10. Biometric Information

We do not collect biometric identifiers or biometric information, as defined under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) or similar laws, through the Site or the Services.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

12. Third-Party Links

Our Site or emails may link to third-party websites or tools we don't control. This Policy doesn't cover those third parties' privacy practices — please review their own policies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective Date” at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
